Free On Board (FOB) pricing reflects the cost of coffee at the port of export, while Farmgate pricing reflects what the farmer actually received for their coffee. Coffee's trading history has largely excluded farmers from negotiations because farmers rarely have the leverage to participate in container-sized, commodified marketplaces. Documenting farmer prices requires long term relationships, trust, and mutual desire between buyers and sellers.

How do online purchases ship?
Purchases placed before 4pm PST will ship the next business day via FedEx Ground. You can also arrange will call pick up at our Oakland warehouse.
