Producers deliver their cherries to the Unitrade Coffee wet mill, which is centrally located in San José Poaquil. Unitrade Coffee is an exporting company dedicated to supporting coffee producers to improve their access to international markets. Producers associated with this coffee are currently in the process of becoming certified by the Rainforests Alliance Program, which aims to protect the environment and produce higher quality coffee with better earnings for producers.
