Dear Customers,
In 2020, we decided that Royal Coffee would observe Juneteenth, the holiday celebrating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. The holiday began in Galveston, Texas and commemorates the June 19th, 1865 delivery of the news of freedom from slavery in Texas, some 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation and more than a month after the end of the Civil War. Juneteenth (also known as Jubilee Day, Freedom Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day) is now celebrated on June 19th throughout the U.S., with increasingly widespread recognition. Please join us in celebrating this day honoring freedom!
