Visiting The Crown

We cannot wait to host you in our Tasting Room, at the Cupping Table or for a Coffee Course.

One of the special things about The Crown is that we are located in the heart of Uptown Oakland – a veritable paradise for coffee lovers & foodies alike. However, parking is limited in the area, and we highly encourage public transportation or ride sharing. Below are some resources to help you plan your visit.

See you at The Crown!

BART

We are a 5-10 minute walk North of 19th Street BART

BROADWAY SHUTTLE “THE FREE B”

We are a 5 minute walk from the Broadway Shuttle stop at Grand/Webster

AC TRANSIT

The 51A, 6 & NL AC Transit bus lines all drop off within a 5-10 minute walk of The Crown.

OFF STREET PARKING

Parking in this area is scarce, even on the luckiest of days. 2 Hour Metered parking is offered throughout the area @ $2/hour.

PAID PARKING GARAGE

The Downtown Oakland YMCA has a parking garage located at 2350 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612 @ $20/day.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

We recommend the Z Hotel Jack London Square located in Oakland’s beautiful Jack London Square neighborhood. You can take the Broadway Shuttle between here and The Crown or a 20-30 minute walk away.

Closer to us is the Oakland Marriott City Center located in Downtown Oakland which is BART, walking and Broadway Shuttle accessible.

FLYING HERE

Domestic flyers can find tons of flights in and out of Oakland International Airport (OAK). For international travelers or less serviced parts of the United States you can fly in and out of San Francisco International (SFO). Both are accessible via BART.

AIRBNB

Most listings in these neighborhoods will be walking distance (in order of most proximate): Uptown Oakland, Downtown Oakland, Adams Point or Lake Merritt. Staying anywhere in Berkeley, Oakland or San Francisco near a BART station will also ensure you can easily get to us.
