Francisco Guevara produced this lot in the municipality of San Andres, located in the department of Lempira. Francisco has more than 20 years of experience cultivating coffee. He relies on the income from coffee to support his wife and their four children. He is proud of the productivity at his 85-acre farm and even prouder of his ability to protect another 500 acres with natural forest. Francisco has his own micro-mill to process harvested cherries. He depulps, ferments and dries the coffee on patios. He took samples to Beneficio Santa Rosa, the powerhouse of western Honduras exporters, which boasts one of the most state-of-the-art dry mill operations in all of Central America and a fully staffed cupping lab equipped to cup through thousands of samples and identify the potential for every coffee that is received.
