HONDURAS ORGANIC JUANA SUAZO YELLOW HONEY GRAINPRO is produced by Juana Suazo and milled as a micro-lot at RAOS (Cooperativa Regional de Agricultores Orgánicos de la Sierra) where Juana is a member. Juana owns a 6-acre farm located in El Cerrón, a community in the municipality of Marcala within the department of La Paz, Honduras. Juana has been cultivating coffee since 1982, when she purchased her first half-acre and planted 1000 coffee plants. Over the years Juana has become a leader at RAOS and a role model for other woman and her six children. Juan has also made improvements to processing her coffee, which is reflected in the cup quality. This honey processed coffee is an example of precisely executed methods of drying coffee while the mucilage remains attached to the bean.
