El Salvador El Portezuelo Bourbon Natural GrainPro is sourced from ASVAL, a family owned operation located in the department of Ahuachapan, El Salvador. Julio Valdivieso and his family started cultivating and harvesting coffee on a 25-acre farm called El Portezuelo four years ago. Coffee is meticulously picked, sorted, and dried before it is transported to the dry mill where it is processed. Beyond coffee ASVAL is dedicated to supporting Goles por Vidas, an organization that uses soccer and job placement programs to help protect young people from violent street gangs.
