BRAZIL ORGANIC FAZENDA KLEM NATURAL RED AND YELLOW CATUAI 15+ is sourced from the Klem family estates in the Matas de Minas growing region near the city of Luisburgo within the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Klem estates were established in the 1950s by Nagipe Viana Klem. Today Nagipe’s four sons manage the estates along with 50 partner/families that work on the estates and share in the profits. The coffee is cultivated along with bananas and avocados to ensure ecological and income diversity. The Klem family’s reputation for producing quality coffee has been recognized in a number of cupping competitions including a third-place finish in the 2017 Brazil Cup of Excellence.
