This coffee is produced by Abera Degela and processed as a separate micro-lot at the Worka Cooperative where Abera is a founding member. The Worka cooperative is located in the southern district of Gedeb, Ethiopia. The cooperative was established in 2005 and Abera farm was selected as a model to help everyone in the cooperative improve their harvesting methods.  Abera moved to Worka as a young man and started cultivating coffee on 5 hectares of land in 1982.  Abera expresses a lot of joy recounting more than three decades of experiences on his coffee farm where he is always looking for new ways to improve the livelihood of his family, which includes 6 children.
