The United Nations has declared 2026 the International Year of the Woman Farmer. For the past 30 years, Grounds for Health has been doing this work already, bringing life-saving cervical cancer screening and treatment to the women farmers at the heart of the coffee supply chain.
Women make up the backbone of the global coffee supply chain: growing, picking, sorting, and carrying the crop that reaches your roastery. Yet lifesaving cervical cancer screening rarely reaches their communities.
This International Year is a moment to act. We’re calling on the coffee industry to join Royal Coffee as Champions for Farmers’ Health.
Where Your Donation Goes Funds raised this summer will directly support two programs:
Ethiopia – In 2026, screen 8,000 women. Goal: 10,000 next year.
Guatemala – Money will go to their needs assessment: visiting coffee partners, communities, and health partners to start a new program. The goal is to launch in 2027!
The Goal $250,000 total. Royal matches up to $125,000. Every dollar you donate becomes two.
