Coffee Background

El Salvador Las Isabellas Natural Bourbon GrainPro is sourced from a farm located near the town of Apaneca within the department of Ahuachapan, El Salvador. The farm is located in an ideal micro-climate for coffee cultivation because of its location in the Apaneca/Ilametepec mountain range, one of the most prestigious areas of coffee cultivation in the country. Las Isabellas is firmly committed to educating the children living near the farm. At the beginning of each school year, Las Isabellas distributes 200 backpacks filled with school supplies. The farm also supports the local school by paying a teacher’s salary, paying for the school’s water supply, and assisting teachers with books and supplies. Las Isabellas is currently partnering with the city of Apaneca to build a potable water system in a neighboring community called Monte Sagrado.
