GUATEMALA FTO QUETZALTENANGO NUEVA ALIANZA SHB EP is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Cooperativa Nueva Alianza, which operates in the Quiché Mayan community of Nueva Alianza located in the municipality of Nuevo Palmar within the department of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Cooperativa Nueva Alianza provides technical assistance and has a facility to produce organic fertilizer to ensure the production of high quality coffee. Members of Cooperativa Nueva Alianza are currently participating in income diversification projects to produce and sell honey and harvest Macadamia nuts.
