Guatemala San Martin Jilotepeque Lot 3 Grainpro is sourced from family owned farms located in the municipality of San Martín Jilotepeque in the department of Chimaltenango, Guatemala. Producers work with an exporting company called UNEX to gain access to technical support for best agricultural practices. The partnership has helped to improve quality, increase earnings from coffee sales, and strengthen the family’s livelihood. UNEX provides a centrally located warehouse to ease transportation costs for producers. UNEX also provides a mobile health clinic that moves between communities to improve access to healthcare.
