Background Details

PAPUA NEW GUINEA FTO KETO-TAPASI A/X is sourced from family owned farms organized around the Keto Tapasi Progress Association.  Keto Tapasi is an association of more than 377 coffee producers located between the Eastern Highlands Province and the Chimbu Province, Papua New Guinea.  Keto Tapasi was formed when two tribes (the Keto and Tapasi tribes) came together to work towards a single common goal of creating a bright and a sustainable future for their families through coffee.  The tribal communities plan to use fair trade premiums to improve access to healthcare and education.
