For Belift Coffee, Indonesian specialty coffee is the way forward to provide brighter futures for homeless youth in San Francisco.

Belift Coffee works locally and internationally, creating opportunities through their outreach efforts connecting coffee producers in Indonesia to consumers in the United States. Taste their coffees, learn about the history and culture behind them, and hear more about Belift’s homeless youth social impact initiative at The Crown!

The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia will also be in attendance to promote Indonesia’s rich specialty coffee culture, give an update on the current state of Indonesian coffee, and show how Belift Coffee is providing brighter futures for homeless youth in San Francisco through their collaboration with Larkin Street Youth Services.

Belift is a specialty coffee social enterprise with a mission to empower underserved coffee farmers in Indonesia and homeless youth in San Francisco with education and employment opportunities. Since our beginning, Belift has gathered partnerships with award-winning non-profits (Larkin Street Youth Services and Telapak), licensed Q-grader in-house roasters, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, and has served more than 500 coffees to individuals through coffee-tasting events, catering sessions, and pop-ups. You can check out their work in this short video here!

About Grounds for Health:

Since 1996, Grounds for Health has worked in Latin America and Africa to address one of the most significant disparities in women’s health globally. Cervical cancer is a nearly 100% treatable disease, and yet in the next 15 years it is expected to kill six million women – 90% of whom will live in developing countries. We specialize in working in communities that represent the base of global supply chains such as coffee, tea, cut flowers and cocoa. We are a mission-driven, international non-profit organization, born out of and with enduring ties to the coffee industry, and focused on increasing coverage of cervical cancer prevention services.
