Brewing coffee and brewing be – these two different practices share a more than just a verb. They’ve changed our social landscape, and the enthusiasm around craft brewing and specialty coffee has changed the way people think about food and beverage altogether.
Both industries have the challenge to procure their raw ingredients. A pound of high-end specialty coffee costs nearly as much as a pound of specialty hops. Contracts are written to secure our goods, but we also build relationships of trust with our producers. The ebb and flow from lager to microbrew and from diner coffee to pourover continues…
Join us for a discussion highlighting these wonderful beverages, what goes into their production, and even how coffee and beer play together in the brewing process. Learn more from an incredible panel of beer industry professionals who have worked closely with coffee, and join us for an afterparty just down the street at Drake’s Dealership where you can taste some of their work!
