This coffee is sourced from a family-owned estate located near Nova Resende in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The farm, Fazenda São João, has been in the Bachião family for three generation. Osvaldo Bachião owns and manages the family farm to preserve his grandfather’s legacy. Fazenda São João has its own mill (recently updated with new equipment) where cherry selection, depulping, and drying are meticulously executed. This honey processed coffee is an example of precisely executed methods of drying coffee while the mucilage remains attached to the bean.
