Background Details

This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around ASOPCAFA, a producer association with 84 members who live in the municipality of Aipe within the department of Huila, Colombia.  On average, each producer cultivates coffee on 1.5 hectares of land and relies on the income from coffee production for a living.  ASOPCAFA provides technical support to assist coffee farmers with certifications and the best agricultural practices for quality coffee production.
